Course content
The main purpose of this class is to show what to think for a better interface between human and artificial products.
In this class, every lecture will consist of two parts:
The first one is the reading of a book entitled “Invisible Computer.” All the students should read one chapter per week as their homework and discuss the contents in the class.
The second one is to introduce the English articles which the students are interested in for their research fields. All the students will have read selected articles beforehand, and explain them to the other plainly.
In some lectures, the second part will be replaced with the lecturer's research introduction (vision experiment, visual illusion, emotion aware system, etc..) or other guest lecturers (introduction of new interaction systems, evaluation of the usability of the new interface, etc..).
