Course content
This lecture treats the task execution methods by the robot, and its system configuration. To achieve the desired task, advanced skills same as humans are required to the robot system. Moreover, the automatic generation ability of the task sequence according to the situation is also required. In this class, many case examples of the robot systems are introduced and explained.
*This is a lecture for foreign students.

Learn and acquire the knowledge of task execution methods by the robot and robot system configuration

  2. Understand the configuration of the robot system to execute several tasks
  3. Understand the methodology of the robot system which generates task sequence automatically, according to the situation
  4. Acquire ability to design robot system for realizing desired task by using learned knowledge

Evaluation method and criteria
Students will be evaluated based on (a)Short Reports, (b)Short Presentation, and (c)Final Design Report and Presentation.
The reports will be evaluated based on whether they contain necessary and sufficient explanations with sentences, figures and tables.
The presentations will be evaluated based on whether the students explain necessary and sufficient topics by well organized talks.

(a)Short Report 20%
(b)Short Presentation 30%
(c)Final Design Report and Presentation 50%
Total score 60% is required.

The total score 60% equals that the student mastered the minimum level content of this class.
