Course content
This course will provide a basic mathematics frequently used in electrical and electronic engineering. The course will be given in lectures as well as exercise to help the students get a better understanding and proficiency in the application of mathematics on electric and electronic circuits.
Purpose of class
This course aims to bridge the gap between students basic understanding in mathematics and the actual application of mathematics in electric and electronic circuits analysis.
Goals and objectives
  1. The students will be able to understand and use vector notation and complex notation in electric and electronic circuit analysis
  2. The students will be able to understand mapping and its properties in signal processing
  3. The students will be able to use Fourier transform and Laplace transform in analysis in the frequency domain
  4. The students will be able to understand the principle of discrete signal processing and its limitation
