Optimal System Design / Exercise 1

In system design research, which is the foundation of Monozukuri (Industrial design and Manufacturing) and Kotozukuri (Things), optimal systems can be designed by integrating technologies in the mechanical field, information technology, and creativity. The content of the research through this exercise is to integrate these three factors and to construct a methodology and framework that successfully supports manufacturing and manufacturing. These research results are expected to create new value for the system.

The research on system design, which is the foundation for　Monozukuri and Kotozukuri, follows the following procedure.
- Discover the problem to be addressed.
- Gather technologies and ideas for integrating mechanical and information technologies, as well as creativity.
- Integrate these three factors.
- Construct methodologies and frameworks that successfully support Monozukuri and Kotozukuri based on the fused ideas.

Publish the research results at domestic and international conferences as appropriate.

Desirable that students have taken systems engineering related courses during their undergraduate.
