1 Wireless Communication Systems Engineering / Exercise 1
In "Wireless Communication Systems Engineering / Exercise 1", themes from the latest various elemental technologies of wireless
communication systems to advanced applied technologies will be researched.
Specifically, research on high-performance antennas for mobile communication, satellite communication, broadcasting and space
communication, research on transmission technology for wireless broadband and ubiquitous, research on emergency and disaster
wireless communication networks that are useful for safety and security, will be researched.
- The students understand the latest various elemental technologies, propose methods to solve problems and demonstrate their
effects and performance.
- The students understand the latest advanced applied technologies, propose methods to solve problems and demonstrate their
effects and performance.
- The students will be able to summarize the rsults as reports and papers, and the research results can be appealed through
presentations.
・Research on high-performance antennas: Make research plans, conduct research, and present research results for various antenna
technologies used in mobile communications and satellite communications.
・Research on wireless transmission technology: Make a research plan for wireless broadband transmission technology and ubiquitous
transmission technology, carry out research, and present a summary of research results.
・Research on wireless communication networks: Makes research plans for wireless communication network configuration technologies
for emergencies and disasters that are useful for safety and security, conducts research, and presents a summary of research
results.
Research guidance will be conducted at weekly laboratory meetings based on confirmation of research progress, discussion of
problems and solutions, and confirmation of how to proceed with research.
The schedule is to start research including technical research and preparation necessary for research in the first half of
the first year, proceed with research including external presentations at academic conferences in the second half of the first
year, and research in the second half of the second year. Summarize, prepare a paper, and make a final presentation.
