Course content
We will clarify biological functions from a mechanical point of view and work on cutting-edge research in the fields of medical and safety technologies. In particular, we will focus on the elderly and study the mechanism of cardiovascular disease and injury caused by accidents, as well as prevention and countermeasures.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand the mechanical properties and motor functions of living organisms.
  2. We can discuss the mechanism of diseases and injuries based on the mechanical functions of living organisms.
  3. Acquire experimental techniques and simulation techniques related to biomechanics.
  4. You can logically explain and present your thoughts, and you can have constructive discussions while listening to the opinions of others.

Class schedule
Thesis for master degree will be written in two years.
Evaluation method and criteria
The master's thesis is evaluated as the final result while confirming the progress by the research report in the laboratory seminar.

Requires general knowledge of mechanical engineering or medical biomedical engineering at the level of undergraduate degree
