Course description
In order to devise a shape of products, the ability to observe deeply about the formation of the shape is required. On the other hand, when proposing a new idea, the ability to more accurately express the shape is also required. In this class, students acquire skills through depictions : how to observe changes of appearance by material, how to observe the formation of shape, how to accurately depict shape and texture. In the first half, students learn the basics through simple shape depictions : how to observe shapes, depict methods, change in appearance by material. n the latter half, students acquire abilities to apply various theories intricately through multiple objects depictions including composition.
Purpose of class
Depiction is a basic training that enhances expressiveness, and understanding structures of forms and drawing the forms accurately is required. In this class, we aim at improving abilities : to deeply observe objects, to accurately depict objects.

Evaluation method and criteria
We calculate the final score from the subtotal of each tasks. We have 4 criteria for each task ( A: Excellent depiction / B: Accurately depiction / C: accurately observed, but not accurately depiction / D: Understanding is questioned). We regard "not enough for giving credit" if more than half of valuation were D. Valuation Formula is below (Total Number of Works = x, Each Number of Valuation is small letter of each alphabet), Final Valuation = 50 (2a+1.6b+1.2c+0.5d) / x.
