Course description
Various kinds of data can be obtained through experiments, observations, and questionnaires. One of the methods to extract information from such data and understand the underlying structure is statistics. Analytical methods for such data have recently become increasingly important and have been developed in various directions. The content of statistics in this class has been used for a long time as a method of handling data, and it is very basic, but its understanding is essential because it is basic.
In this class, students learn basic concepts in statistics through an exercise using R.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this class is to understand basic statistical concepts and statistical analysis methods, and to be able to calculate them using computer.
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to understand descriptive statistics, and applied to the data.
  2. To be able to understand inferential statistics, and applied to the data.
  3. To be able to understand regression analysis, and applied to the data.
Language
