Course description
This course is designed to remind and teach students about the basics of chemistry, atomic and molecular structure, state of matter and solutions, chemical reactions, and the basics of chemical equilibrium. This course is directly continued by General Chemistry B.
Purpose of class
The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the principles of chemistry on the academic level.

Evaluation method and criteria
The short test will contribute 20% to your grade.
The Mid-term exam will contribute 30% to your grade.
The Final exam will contribute 50% to your grade.
To pass the student must earn a total score of 60% or more.

This course can be followed only by students who have enough knowledge of the contents of the Basic Chemistry course (highschool level chemistry).
Those who followed and passed the Basic Chemistry chemistry course can directly follow the course.
