1 Engineering of Machine Design 1
Students learn a method of Mechanical drawing based on JIS B 0001. At first, a professor explains the method of Mechanical
drawing and then the students draw exercises with regard to the themes of the lecture.
The purpose of this lecture is to become to be able to draw basic parts according to drawing method as a mechanical engineer.
- To understand roles of Mechanical drawing and rules of the Standard.
- to understand the projection method with machine design drawing
to become to be able to convert from three-dimensional drawings to three-side drawings, from three-side drawings to three-dimensional
drawings, and draw a drawing.
- to understand drafting methods such as section drawings, dimensioning method and so on.
- to become to be able to draw bolt/nut assemblies and gears based on JIS.
