Course description
Industrial products and various parts are made into desired quality and shape given some kind of function according to the properties of the material, namely plasticity, meltability, conductivity, machinability and the like.
In this lecture, we will introduce tools, tools and various processing machines for manufacturing. In addition, we will learn about systematic classification and concepts of various kinds of processing methods and processing methods for various materials.
As for processing, it is difficult to understand only by the classroom studies, "Machining training" is set up in Laboratory Exercises for Engineering Science 1 and 2, and the contents to be taught in this lecture (machining process) are practiced. The progress of the lesson and the day of the experiment are not necessarily synchronized, but I want them to deepen their understanding by taking both courses.
Purpose of class
Learn about various tools and processing machines as tools and methods for manufacturing. In addition, it aims to learn about a better processing method such as systematic classification of various kinds of processing method and its concept, rational action and processing method of processing method for various materials.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand the characteristics of various industrial materials, you can find out the characteristics and the optimum processing method for product manufacturing.
  2. It understands the principle of additive processing by joining, adhesion, and deformation processing making use of melting of material, and it can be applied to manufacturing methods of machine casings and parts etc.
  3. We can understand the principle of various removal processing method to remove unnecessary part and obtain new surface · shape and make it useful for product manufacturing.
  4. Understand the relative motion of various processing machines and tools and the principle and mechanism thereof, and can select the optimum addition method from the viewpoint of the characteristics of the practical tool and the product shape.
  5. Understand the causal relationship of phenomena occurring during processing systematically and develop the ability to think and develop themselves as to what to do for good processing.
