Course description
This course introduces the foundation of thermodynamics to students taking this course.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this class is to help students acuire an understanding of the fundamental principles of thermodynamics.
Goals and objectives
  1. To understand the law of the conservation of energy.
  2. To understand the relationship between entropy and Gibbs energy.
  3. To understand the relationship between Gibbs Energy and the equilibrium constant.
