Course description
In October 2020, Prime Minister Suga expressed his determination to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero as a whole by 2050 and to realize a carbon-neutral and decarbonized society. The government is actively taking measures against global warming, promoting technological innovation in energy, and trying to transform it into a growth business.

1) Accelerating utilization of EV for renewable energy
2) Ensuring renewable energy business economically.
3) Realize distributed energy system using renewable energy and battery.

Will provide information of future energy system like VPP(Virtual Power Plan), Blockchain, ZEH and ZEB at this class.
At this class, newest distributed energy system and new power service knowledge will be understood. Also you can get knowledge of intelligent power supply and other systems.
And in this class, project learning will be started in parallel. At this lecture, you can experience unique curriculum. We will provide you some theme of problems which we are having now. And you can discuss about it with team mate and make presentation at the last of class. This curriculum is very useful for when you out to the society.
Purpose of class
1. Can get knowledge of energy and new power service.
2. Can understand new technology like “Blockchain” which will be useful for future energy business.
3. Can get performance of team building and presentation through project learning examination.
4. Can get knowledge of system design through project learning.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand global warming, energy problems, future energy system and vision & technology to realize low carbon society.
  2. Understand distributed energy system and self-generation and self-consuming type of energy system.
  3. Understand constitution of power system, basic digital power supply, overview of smart energy system and development method.
  4. Understand overview of blockchain.
  5. Understand basic programming method using Python.
  6. Understand fun of design and importance of the communication.
  7. To build image of after graduation by listening the story from business side.
