Introduction to Information Science and1
Study area of computer science and engineering is overviewed for new students. Department staffs introduce various research
topics in computer science and engineering. They also explain the relationship between the department curriculum and those
research topics. The student writes a minute paper and submits it every lecture. The student learns how to write technical
papers and writes ones related with the area that he/she is interested in. Students also learn laws and ethics on digital
data.
