Course description
One of the important functions of the building is to protect life and property of people living there.
In the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, it is new in memory to have suffered big damage in terms of human resource economically in the global environment.
The structure design of the building becomes the important point to minimize such damage.
This subject deepens the contents of the lecture through an experiment and practice, parallel to the lecture of "the construction structure design", and learns about a summary of a basic policy, structure, the design technique of the structure design.
Purpose of class
1. To learn the way of thinking of the structure design.
2. To learn the procedure of the structure design through practice.

To take "analysis of instability structure" in late 2.
In addition, take "the building structure system practice" at the same time.
This subject is a designated subject in "building ordinary structure" for the first-class architect examination.
The first-class architect examination applicant had better to study this subject.

Applicable Until now, Professor has experience 20 years of a researcher, 2 years of a structural designer and 1 year in TAKENAKA corporation, which is one of 5 big general contractors in Japan. And then, Professor have several knowledge and experiences from Urban design, design-built and constructions. And, the professor has 1-st grade Architect. As a result, the professor is able to give several presentations based on actual experiences for students.
