れまでに学んだ基礎的知識や実験技術を用いて、一定のテーマについて実験または調査研究を行い、その成果を論文として執筆したり口頭発表するスキルを養うことを目的とする。

Research Guidance
Metabolic conversion of food ingredients in vivo and its relevance to disease.
Research Content
We analyze the in vivo metabolic conversion mechanism of vitamin K and vitamin D which are fat soluble vitamins. We also analyze the role of age-related diseases such as osteoporosis and cerebral nerve degenerative diseases by using knowledge and techniques of biochemistry and molecular biology.In addition, the student presents the results obtained through the research at domestic and overseas academic conferences, and presents it in domestic and overseas papers.Through such research, students cultivate the foundation and application skills as society people and researchers.

Evaluation method and criteria
Undergraduate Thesis Research 2
Students make proposal of their research, study research background, methodology of their research, analysis on their data, making discussion at progrress report meeting.
In addition, students should read English scientific journal papers, and making presentation to introduce such information and discussion among scientific research team.

Systematic evaluation concerning attitude to study research background, making research plan, performing experiments, and analysis and discussion etc.

3年次までに学んだ基礎的知識や実験技術について復習するとともに、総合研究Ⅰで実施した内容を深く理解する。
