幅広い視野をもち、多様な知識を統合・再構成し、それをもって理工学の諸問題を解決する能力を体験的に修得するための専門教育の仕上
げとして総合研究を行う。
Purpose of class
各自が設定したテーマを解明し総合的解決策を導き出す能力を修得すること。
Goals and objectives
  1. 問題の解決方法を自ら提案し，総合研究テーマとして企画できる。
  2. 手法および研究計画を立案することができる。
  3. 必要な成果物の形で研究成果をまとめることができる。
    研究成果を口頭で説明し，討論できる。
  4. 研究計画を自ら再検討し，継続的に実施することができる。
  5. 研究計画の下で，テーマに応じて，実験や調査，データ分析，数理モデルによる解析および評価ができる。

Cognitive Systems Research Project II
Research Content
Cognitive science draws on many disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and computer science. The goal of this course is to integrate ideas, concepts, constructs, methodologies, and theories from across different disciplines and different perspectives on cognitive and intelligent systems, apply the knowledge and skills to a certain problem related to human behavior, and offer a new and workable solution. At the end of the course students shall be able to present the final report of their research project to an audience who are novices in cognitive science.
