Course content
In this course, postgraduate students who intend to choose a teaching career at a university or other institution in the future will learn the course design, syllabus and evaluation methods necessary to teach a class. They will also experience active learning methods and practise mock classes.
Purpose of class
The aim of this course is to enable students to recognise the importance of teaching as a responsibility of teachers involved in educational activities at universities and other institutions, and to design and implement classes from the students' perspective. To this end, students acquire practical knowledge and skills for the implementation of classes through actual experience and learning from each other, and acquire an attitude of continuous enquiry into education as well as research.
Goals and objectives
  1. Sucessful students will be able to design lessons that encourage students' independent learning and express this in the form of an appropriate syllabus and lesson plans.
  2. Sucessful students will be able to select appropriate from a range of teaching techniques and assessment methods.
  3. Sucessful students will be able to utilise and implement the knowledge learnt as a mock class.

Evaluation method and criteria
25% for syllabus, 10% for rubric evaluation table, 25% class plan, 40% teacher and peer evaluation by mock class.
The students will get pass by 60% or more.

The assessment criteria are as follows.
- The student has reached the assignment in accordance with its requirements. The minimum level is reached. 60%.
- The student has reached the requirements of the assignment in an appropriate and logical manner. Meets the target level. 70%.
- The student has exceeded the requirements of the assignment. Exceeds target level. ∙ 80% or more.
