Course content
We will study various measurement methods and theories of photochemistry. These are used for analysis of molecular functions and reaction systems.

Photochemical measurements have the advantage that intuitive data can be obtained by simple experimental operations, but they are often puzzled in complex molecular systems/reactions.

From the standpoint of practical use in chemical research, we will study how to simplify the data obtained by these measurement methods.
Purpose of class
Understand various photochemical measurement methods and their theory, and use them for research.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand the principles of various spectroscopic measurements and make experimental plans to obtain accurate data.
  2. Understand spectroscopic and magnetic chemistry measurements for molecular chemistry considerations.
  3. Kinetic analysis can be performed based on the measurement results of high-speed spectroscopy.
