Course content
Organic compounds are used not only for field of chemistry but also for various fields such as architecture, electronics, biology, medical and food. In this lecture, recent advancement of functional organic materials are reviewed and discussed through searching and reading latest papers.
Purpose of class
To understand organic compounds and lead others to understand contents of latest papers through oral presentation.
Goals and objectives
  1. To understand the synthesis method and function of some organic materials and explain their application fields.
  2. To tell others about some organic materials by presentation.
  3. To search and investigate academic papers dealing with organic materials and understand the contents correctly.
  4. To understand and discuss the presentation on organic materials.

Evaluation method and criteria
Materials of the report (presentation), contents of the presentation, contribution in the discussion are evaluated. The credit requires over 60% of total scores on the presentation of which include the topics of "goals and the objectives.
