ISHIKAWA Yuji
Course content
The purpose of this lesson are to learn the outline of advanced structural systems in Japan and all over the world. These knowledges will be useful for students to develop new technologies and to resolve the various issues faced as a structural engineer, otherwise a researcher. Developing new ideas based on study of the past (Onkochishin).
Main topics of the lecture are as following.
1) High-rise RC buildings (High strength concrete columns)(Advanced Precast concrete system)
2) High-rise Concrete Filled Steel Tube buildings
3) Advanced retrofitting technology using concrete and wooden butterfly blocks
4) Fire protected wooden structures
5) Advanced Steel fiber concrete technologies
6) Other advanced technology of structural engineering
Purpose of class
This course will give several knowledges for students to develop new technologies and to resolve the various issues faced as a structural engineer and a researcher. Developing new ideas based on study of the past (Onkochishin). The final aim is to endow with good ability to solve several technical issues to develop new technologies and projects.
