With the development of measurement technology, it is becoming possible to visualize the human brain functions in daily environment.
Such brain function measurement technology works as a system combining engineering that detects electrical and metabolic signals
associated with neural activity, and psychology that quantifies the cognitive mechanisms such as attention and awareness,
and it is difficult to use the system based on only one field of knowledge. Therefore, this course aims to comprehensively
learn a wide range of fields from measurement technology to physiology and psychology, and to acquire knowledge for utilizing
brain function measurement systems. In the class, lectures on the basic principle of brain function measurement technology
will be given, and the latest research topics will be introduced.
