Observation System for Space and Astrophysical Science/Exercise 1

YOSHIDA Kenji

KUBOTA Aya
Course content
Research targets are observation systems for cosmic X-rays, cosmic gamma rays and cosmic rays, and data analysis systems to derive scientific results from the observation data. You will design detectors or evaluate the detector performance. You will be able to investigate data processing, Monte Carlo simulation, or data analysis methods, conducting experiments as necessary.
Goals and objectives
  1. You will be able to understand and explain cosmic X-rays / gamma rays, cosmic ray observation methods.
  2. You will be able to perform Monte Carlo simulations, data analysis, or basic experiments.
  3. You will be able to consider results you have derived, understand their significance, and explain them.
Language
Japanese
