1 Electronic Circuits and Systems Design/ Exercise 1
This course focuses on the study of electronic circuits design techniques and their application in electronic systems. The
circuit design skill will be nurtured through theoretical analysis, actual designs and evaluations. This research includes
the following themes: near field communication system design, bio-sensing system design, power management system design, and
analog signal processing system design. During the research period, students will learn theoretical analyses and verification
methods using industry standard tools. Advanced learning through hardware (integrated circuits) implementation and experiments/evaluations
will also be provided. As a support to personal development, students will be encouraged to publish their works.
- Students can understand and explain applications of electronic circuits in various systems
- Students can analyze circuit performance in a system
- Students can properly design a circuit for a given system specification
Evaluation method and criteria
Assignments (60%) and presentation (40%). Credit acquisition needs total score of 60% or higher and presentation is mandatory.
Students are requested to report their progress every week.
