Course description
Students will experience the process of product design, using their knowledge of the specialized courses they have taken so far.
Starting with researches, the students will analyze those results, extract a design concept, and realize the concept into a product. Through this process, they will learn the methodology of design thinking and experience the fun of manufacturing and creative activities.
Purpose of class
Acquire the ability to design products that are not merely superficial, but that are rooted in the user's experience.
Learn methodologies and ways of thinking that can be applied not only to product design, but also to any design creation activity.
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to research and synthesize the issue and identify the problems. Develop the ability to identify hidden problems.
  2. To be able to generate ideas to solve problems and develop attractive concepts.
  3. To have the ability to translate concepts logically into design.
  4. To be able to present their own design proposals.
