Course description
This class does not focus on a specific environmental problem or approach, but covers a wide range of academic approaches, such as air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, and global warming, and explains their causes and the measures that have been taken. There are no restrictions on the number of students taking this class, but because environmental studies is an interdisciplinary field, it includes both humanities and sciences. The course may not proceed according to the syllabus for various reasons.
Purpose of class
The various environmental problems facing humanity today are occurring at the global level, and there are no clear answers as to what we should do about them. There is no clear answer as to how we should deal with them. Therefore, there are a wide range of academic disciplines and approaches that deal with the environment. In this class, students will learn about various environmental problems that have occurred in the past and are currently in progress.
