Course description
In this lecture, students will learn the basic concepts and school education of the curriculum and curriculum guidelines, the meaning and significance from the perspective of society, and how to organize the curriculum. In addition, learn about the necessity and method of curriculum management in school education, and give an overview of how to evaluate the curriculum itself.

Class plans and evaluation methods may differ depending on the instructor in charge, so be sure to check when giving guidance.
Purpose of class
In this lecture, students will learn the basics of the curriculum organized based on the curriculum guidelines and the significance and organization method of the curriculum organized at each school. Students will learn the significance and method of curriculum management that is conducted in a cross-curricular way of thinking according to the actual conditions of each school and region.
Goals and objectives
  1. 学校における教育内容と教育課程の編成について理解し、説明することができる。
  2. 学習指導要領の変遷過程について理解することを通して、教育改革と社会状況との関係について説明することができる。
  3. 諸外国の教育課程について理解し、我が国の教育課程編成上の問題点について考察することができる。
  4. 新学習指導要領の内容と改訂のポイントについて理解し、現代の学校に求められている教育内容について説明することができる。

なお、中学校については2021年度以降実施の学習指導要領、高等学校については2022年度以降実施の学習指導要領が発表され次第、順次使用する。
Prerequisites
文部科学省のホームページに掲載されている現行の学習指導要領に関する説明（http://www.mext.go.jp/a_menu/shotou/new-cs/index.htm）には目を通し、今日の教育課程編成の方向性について予備知識を持っておいてもらいたい。
