Course description
Sketching and prototyping are important tools for designers to organize their own thoughts and and lead to new insights while stimulating their thoughts by moving their hands. And they are also important to develop designer’s observation, analysis, composition, modeling, expression abilities. In this course, students will learn the basic skills to draw objects and people in a short time, which is essential for all design activities, and also learn the importance of materializing the thoughts organized with the sketches into prototypes.
Purpose of class
1. To learn the importance and enjoyment of expressing one's ideas through sketches and prototypes.
2. To learn basic sketching techniques in order to communicate with them in a short time.
3. To learn how to develop a design through sketching and express it in a simple prototype.
Goals and objectives
  1. Be able to express one’s own ideas accurately through sketches and prototypes.
  2. Be able to organize one’s ideas and make one’s design level higher by repeating sketching and prototyping.
  3. Be able to improve one’s design quality by understanding the differences between one’s own ideas and those of others, and communicating appropriately to enhance each other's.
