Course description
In this practice, you will study the principle of machine tools, actually operate them, and acquire the operation skills. Machine tools used in this practice are lathes, milling machines, wire-cut electric discharge machines etc.
And we will use various measuring equipments (hardness, strength, roughness, CCD, SEM) etc.
We will manufacture the target product (for example, gyroscope) by using these machine tools and measuring equipments.
We discuss the merits and demerits of each product.
Purpose of class
We learn to develop the sense of manufacturing.
