Course description
To develop, operate, maintain, and update complicated robot systems, it is necessary to analyze and design the target system before the implementation and the functions are then developed. This course addresses an RT system design and implementation in a team similar to real projects. Each team decides the system to be developed and task of each member considering the given theme and component based system development is done.
Purpose of class
This course aims to master skills regarding a team system development through component based design and implementation.

  1. To design and develop flexible and scalable RT systems
  2. To acquire knowledge required for the designed system and implement the system
  3. To promote system development while communicating with team members properly

Evaluation method and criteria
The final product is evaluated by its contents, documentation, final presentation and contribution of each student. Development process is evaluated by the content of discussion with team members and weekly activity reports.
