Course description
Students learn image processing in computer vision thoughout its practice. Students need to make computer programs, in which the image is input from the visible-ray camera and the information requied according to the purpose is extracted and output, by using C/C++ language, or python. Based on several practice subjects, students learn representative image processing algorithm used in computer vision, camera calibration method, and artificial intelligence.
Purpose of class
First, we ain at learning and understanding what is image processing in computer vision field thoroughout several practice subjects. Second, we aim at enhancing computer programing skills, e.g., C/C++ language or Python experienced in the 1st and 2nd grades, and understandings of artificial intelligence and signal processing lerned in the 3rd garde.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand image processing and its system in computer vision field. Can explain the floe from image input to data output based its procedure according to purpos.e
  2. Can design and implement the image processing program by using C/C++ language and python.
  3. Can understand and implement the camera calibration technique, which is essential in image processing. Can aplly the calibration data for the programs students make. In addtion, can understand and explan some simple artificial intelligence program.
