Course description
Today, our human life depends really upon technologes. It is not too much to say that it is controled by the interest technologies cause. So the responsibility of engineers is very heavy. What should the engineer as professional do, in order to make our social affluent and not to do any harm to it. In this course we think what engineer should do and shouldn't do.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this class is for you to acquire the capacity of judging between right and wrong by yourself.
Goals and objectives
  1. Recognize different values and develop the moral imagination to understand things from various points of view.
  2. Cultivate the capacity of gaining an insight into the essence of ethical conflicts at the root of particular situations.
  3. Develop the ability to judge ethical ploblems, based on the ethical principles and their situation.

Evaluation method and criteria
Your final grade will be calculated according to the following process:
Small examination(6~8points) at the end of every class. The total of points of all classes will be 100 points.
Passing grade is more than 60 points.
Attendance more than two-thirds is compulsory. The submission of your answer to the small examination is regarded as your attendance.
