Course description
Mechanical technology is the most important foundation in parts making of industrial products. Machine manufacturer chooses the material with a part drawing and prepares the ingredient by which dissolution was formed first. Then, machining process is held in order to get required shape and size on a part. After prepare all the parts, put those together by assembly process to make a industrial product. Even if both have to be performed appropriately and these lack one, the function as hoped can't be shown up. The class is advanced taking the application in an actual face for instance while explaining a series of flow of a machine manufacture way.
Purpose of class
The 1st purpose of this course is to acquire various knowledge of mechanical technology on its kind, the purpose and attention points. And it is necessary of the machine design to follow those knowledge. On the other hand, the second purpose is to evaluate each mechanical technology in terms of choice and theory by using actual examples.
Goals and objectives
  1. The kind of casting process and the feature can be understood.
  2. Classification of plastic forming and the kind can be understood.
  3. It can be understood about welding process.
  4. Outline of the machining process(cutting and grinding) can be understood.
  5. The kind of special machining and those features can be understood.
