This class is an introduction to the concept and technology of measurement, especially electric and electronic measurement.
Purpose of class
By the end of the course students should be able to select appropriate methods for, and complete a study of, evaluating reliability and validity of science assessments.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understand the basics of measurement, such as how to handle units and how to handle errors in measurement
  2. Understand the operating principles of measurement instruments in the electrical and electronic fields
  3. Understand the relationship between measurement in the field of electrical communications and the basic electrical and electronic measurement technology

Grading will be based on the following weighting:
Mid-term examination 50%
Final examination 50%
The students will receive credit by minimum examination score of 60.
The minimum score can be obtained if the student has reached the level to be able to solve 60% of the exercises in the handouts.
