3 Microwave Engineering
This course has been designed to offer undergraduate level subject to the students of Electronics or Electrical Communication
Engineering. The course presumes a basic knowledge of Electromagnetic Field theory. Concepts are built up from the basics
and finally related to the present day applications so that students who want to work in electronics fields find this course
useful.
To enable the student to become familiar with active & passive microwave devices &
components used in microwave communication systems.
- Acquire the ability to understand the basic transmission line theory
- Acquire the ability to understand the properties of wave guides
- Acquire the ability to understand the characteristics and measument method of passive and active microwave components
