Course description

The aims of this subject are as follows:
・Recognizing roles of electrical engineering in the country and the international society correctly.
・Grasping technological needs in the present-day society
・Acquiring the abilities to discover the technological issues and to solve them
In order to achieve the above aims, each process of design, fabrication and evaluation essential to manufacturing can be experienced through the seminars held by the laboratories in the department of electrical engineering.

Purpose of class

The purpose of this class is that you get professional knowledge and special skills of some laboratories in electrical engineering laboratories.

Goals and objectives

Technological needs in the country and the international society can be grasped
Technological issues can be found, and themes can be proposed to solve the issues.
Each process of concept design, detailed design, fabrication and evaluation can be explained.
Technologies concerning electrical engineering can be designed in consideration of engineering ethics, and they can be documented.

Evaluation method and criteria

It is required to attend the class eight times or more and to make a presentation on the results in the seminar in the last class. The presentation is evaluated by a plurality of teachers. 60% of total score is required to obtain a credit.

Prerequisites

Required knowledge: electric circuit, electronic circuit, computer programming and so on.
