Course description
This course covers engineering mechanics. Engineering mechanics is normally divided into two basic areas, which are statics and dynamics. Here students will study dynamics.
Purpose of class
Engineering mechanics is very important in technology. The goal of this course is to let students understand Newton's laws of motion, concepts of force, energy, work.
Goals and objectives
  1. To understand equations of motion
  2. To understand concepts of momentum, impulse, angular momentum
  3. To understand relation between work and energy
Language
Japanese
