Course description
In this class, you will join global project based learning (gPBL). You will accomplish some robotics missions with foreign students in other countries. You will discuss about extra function of robot with foreign students. Your team will propose some robotics external function based on line tracing robot. Finally your team will have some presentation and demonstration about robotics function. Practice period is about 2 weeks. You should join some guidance of this class. You should submit daily report and final report of this class.

The purposes of this class are as follows.
(1) You can communicate about information and comment with other persons.
(2) You can understand information and comment that other persons said.
(3) You can solve some problem about electrical engineering in global environment.

Evaluation as a design task 50% (Training plan 20%, Final report 10%, Final presentation 20%)
Activity evaluation as a member of the group 50% (evaluation of training destination 20%, Final report 10%, Diary report 20%)
60% will be the case where all the required achievements / reports are achieved / reported, and 60% or more will be passed in total for all evaluation items.

You must have taken the Basic level of the e-learning teaching material "Super English Academic Express 3" before the training.
Office hours and How to contact professors for questions
  • During the preparation period: From 17:00 to 17:20 on Monday, questions and consultations will be accepted at Classrooms 4107 and 4108 in Omiya campus Building No. 4.
    Orientation: 30 minutes after the orientation, questions and consultations will be accepted in the orientation classroom (date and place undecided)
    During the training period: For 20 minutes after the training on each day, questions and consultations will be accepted in the training classroom (date and place undecided)
