生体分子化学研究

　生命は組織や細胞の集合体であるが，その元をたどれば，小さな特徴的な生体分子の自己集合体である。高度な機能を発現するためにも，一つ一つの分子が重要であり，最小単位である生体分子には，機能と情報がプログラミングされていると考えても良いであろう。
　当研究室では，生体分子を新しくデザインし，実際に有機合成による「分子レベルのモノ造り」を行う。合成した分子を基に，新しい機能場の構築を行い，働く分子の設計・合成・機能評価を行う。
