Research on information networks targeting a wide range of scales, from smart cities to the brain. The key is sensing and
communication / calculation processing technology such as 3D (three-dimensional image) sensors that maximize the accuracy
and speed of machine learning executed by AI (artificial intelligence). And security technology required in the smart city
era, such as blockchain technology for IoT (Internet of Things) that securely protects sensor data. Outdoors, we aim for zero
accidents by sensing vehicles and pedestrians "without blind spots". Based on the information model formed by sensing the
brain, we pursue a truly comfortable information space for each individual. Weaving a society with each service realized by
these technologies, we will promote the realization of a society that enriches people through information networks.
