4 Undergraduate Thesis Research 1
In the fourth year, students are assigned to laboratories according to what they have learned by the third year, and conduct
research on specific themes under the advice of their supervisors. In Undergraduate Thesis Research 1, according to the policy
of each laboratory, students are expected to take the initiative in seminars, self-studies, designing research methods, and
conducting simulations on specific issues, and to report the results of these activities through an oral presentation and
writing a paper.
The purpose of this course is to develop the skills to conduct research as a culmination of the four years of study at the
university, and then to summarize and present the results.
- To be able to find their own issues and set their own research themes.
- To be able to propose solutions and improvement methods to research theme issues and set goals for their effectiveness.
- To be able to evaluate the proposed theory and methods, and discuss the degree of achievement and remaining issues.
