Course description
In the field of architectural engineering, "Building Materials", "Structural Mechanics", "Material Mechanics", "Structural Analysis", "Reinforced Concrete Structure", "Steel Structure", etc. should be learned well. As an introduction to those lectures, basic knowledge and essential information of building structure are presented through discussion and exercises.
Purpose of class
Acquire the basic knowledge and methodology for understanding building structure in order to grasp the roles and necessity of mechanics, material science, and structural engineering in architecture.
