Through case studies and discussions, students will deepen their understanding of three key concepts that are likely to become
increasingly important in Japan's building production system, which is expected to undergo major changes in the future: public-private
partnership, facility management and ordering methods. This course is positioned as an internship-related subject in that
students will consider and learn the meaning of these concepts that they will face in their future work. This course is deeply
related to the internship and aims to improve students' ability to adapt to architectural practice after graduation.

Understanding the diversifying nature of construction projects through a deeper understanding of "public-private partnerships,"
"facility operations" and " procurement methods."
- Understand the series of processes: conception - planning - design - construction - operation and maintenance - demolition.
- Be able to take a holistic view and approach that includes social, economic and cultural perspectives in addition to engineering and technical perspectives.
- Understand the various methods related to production systems and their relationship to technology and economics.
