1 Advanced Material Processing
Survey foreign papers concerning forming processes, surface modification technology and coating processes extensively and
study about the method of approach, summarization and presentation.
This course provides an introduction to materials processing science. Specific processes, such as melt-processing of metals,
surface finishing, deposition technologies (PVD, CVD, thermal spray and plating), powder metallurgy and deformation processing
are considered.
- To understand casting, powder metallurgy and molding methods of composite material.
- To understand deformation processing and its application.
- To understand vacuum science, surface modification engineering and coating technology.
