1 Planning for Urban and Regional Resilience /Exercise 1
Research projects in the laboratory focus on multidisciplinary studies across spatial planning, environmental design, and
social systems with an emphasis on how to achieve urban and regional resilience.
- Students will be able to learn the concept of planning for urban and regional resilience.
- Students will be able to learn about the technical analysis and integration methods of planning for urban and regional resilience.
- Students will be able to learn about collaborative planning for urban and regional resilience.
- Students will be able to learn about multidisciplinary approaches for urban and regional resilience.
Japanese(English accepted)
Students will conduct research based on the research plan guided by a supervisor.
Evaluation method and criteria
Research activities include literature reviews, field surveys, data analyses, discussions, reports, presentations, and so
on.
An overall research performance is evaluated for the final grade.
