1 Fluid Power Control/ Exercise 1
Fluid control engineering is a field of control engineering to realize mechatronics functions utilizing hydraulic and pneumatic
power.
In terms of its application range, small power applications include the transport of goods, positioning, grasping, and processing
activities at various automated factories; large power applications include mechatronics control in construction robots, aircraft,
automobiles, and in the steel industry, among others.
The following are main research themes:
1. Design of robust electrohydraulic control systems
2. Behavioral analysis and control of pneumatic systems
3. Collaborative control of multi-axial positioning systems
4. Development of functional fluid devices
In special seminars, students will understand the dynamic characteristics of hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems through
computer simulations, and in the special experiments, computer control of hydraulic and pneumatic actuators will be implemented,
and students will empirically learn various control methods.
- Understand the behavior analysis and control about hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Design and analyze multi-axis cooperative control system for positioning.
- Examine analysis and simulation techniques on pneumatic flow in fluid pipelines.
In exercises and experiments, students tackle the themes related to the follow research subjects.
