1 Fundamentals of Mathematical Physics /Exercise1
The theory of general relativity is essential to understand the large scale structure of our universe or black hole geometry.
It is applied to not only astrophysics, but also particle physics and condensed matter physics. This course deals with the
principle of general relativity and how it is applied to the other area of physics.
- Understand Maxwell equations in terms of tensor field
- Understand the geometrical and causal structure of a given metric
- To derive exact solutions by imposing symmetry on spacetime
- Ability of oral presentation about research and writing a master’s thesis
