Exercise of Basic Drawing

HAYABUSA Keisuke
Course description
In the basic drafting exercise, you will acquire the basics of the ability to read and create drawings necessary for the designer. First, you will learn the basics and composition of drawings, and then you will learn about dimensioning methods, fittings, tolerances, materials, welding methods and their symbols. Acquire the basic knowledge through the practice of drafting each time. In addition, learn how to draw machine elements such as screws and flanges that are frequently used as machine parts. You basically use AutoCAD and aim to acquire mechanical design skills.
Purpose of class
Learn the procedure and method of mechanical drawing based on JIS. Learn about mechanical drawing with AutoCAD.
Goals and objectives
  1. You can imagine a three-dimensional figure by looking at a two-dimensional figure. You can understand the projection method.
  2. You can understand dimensioning methods, tolerances, and fits.
  3. You can create drawings. You can use AutoCAD.
Language
Japanese

Evaluation method and criteria
Drawings (submitted materials: mechanical drawings to be performed each time) and the final exam are evaluated, and a score of 60 or higher is considered a pass. The guideline for 60 points is to be able to draw machine drawings that can be interpreted by AutoCAD. The evaluation of assignments is based on a maximum score of 5 points for exercise 01 to 04, and 10 points for subsequent tasks, and the total score is multiplied by 0.75. The score for the final exam will be the score multiplied by 0.25.
