Fundamental Electric Circuit

TAKAMI Hiroshi
Course description
Students will study the following basic characteristics of DC and AC circuits in the electric circuit 1.
(1) basic laws and theorems of dc circuit
(2) alternating circuit analysis by instantaneous and complex vector expressions
(3) evaluations of electric power, analyses of resonance circuit and bridge circuit
Purpose of class
Students understand important laws and theorems concerned with simple electric circuits, and they will be able to calculate problems of simple electric circuits
Goals and objectives
  1. Theorems and laws of the DC circuit are to be studied. The simple DC circuit can be calculated.
  2. Complex vector expression is to be studied. The simple DC circuit in series, parallel and combined them
    can be calculated.
  3. Theorems and laws in the AC circuits are to be studied. The simple network of the AC circuit
can be calculated by complex vector expression.
  4. Electric power and power factor in the AC circuits are to be studied, and basic characteristics of the resonance circuit and AC bridge circuit are understood and can be solved.
