Course description
This course, “General Chemistry B”, is the direct continuation of the Fall semester course “General Chemistry A”. To follow “General Chemistry B” it is mandatory to have followed and passed “General Chemistry A”.
This course introduces foundations of chemistry at the university level, including equilibrium phenomena; nuclear chemistry; chemistry of the main group of elements; the transition elements and coordination compounds; the rare earth elements.
This course will be "duplicate": it will be held twice, in both Spring semester and Fall semester, and its contents will be identical. Therefore, the students can choose in which semester to follow this course.
Purpose of class
The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the principles of chemistry and chemical elements on the advanced level.
